Ribeye, fries, and red wine reduction sauce
Made the ribeye Gordon Ramsay-style. Seared in the cast iron before sitting on each side for 6-7 mins with garlic, thyme, butter, and olive oil, and then basting constantly with the butter. All I used was good ol’ salt and pepper. Perfect crust on the outside, but soft, tender, and juicy on the inside. Heavenly. Had fries in the air fryer the whole time. When the ribeye was done, I used some red wine to make a reduction sauce to cover the fries in. It came out a bit more watery and browner than I wanted, but it was still good. Delicious meal, wish Jameson could’ve tried some.
